More of my reviews at Secrets of Lost Words.Rating: B-This one took like four chapters before it got into the real action. The idea of Shade and a whole different world is quite interesting. The world splitting after the Great Chicago Fire? Count me in for this great adventure :)Darcy Jones didn't remember anything before she was abandoned at five. Having amnesia made it all the more peculiar. Hmm.. seems like there are locked memories in Darcy's head that she's hidden. So one day this mysterious boy comes to school then he betrayed her!! OMG.. YeahThis books is a lot of ups and downs for me (especially for the love interest). Ex: I liked Conn at first then thought he was a dick. Then this other guy, a Shade, comes in then I thought ooh I like him.
