More of my reviews at Secrets of Lost WordsYou can also read this review here*A review copy was provided by the author for reviewing purposes*Thanks! This book did not fail me! I really enjoyed this. I especially liked the relationship between Zoe and Noah. It was very cute!So seventeen-year-old Zoe Vanderveen is a GAP (genetically altered person). She lives in a beautiful walled city with other people like her, people who also have extended life spans. Her brother Liam hasn't been as close to her as before. And one day, he doesn't come home. He is missing. Noah Brody is a natural (people who are not GAPs) who lives outside the beautiful walled city. He detests GAPs and leads protests against them. He hates how everyone is not equal and how some people (*ahem* GAPs) have extended life spans and others don't. Zoe had to turn to Noah for help when she decides to find her brother. Well, it was quite a bumpy road there :)What I really loved about this was their love. I liked how Noah didn't give up even after that happened (can't tell you what). He kept going, earning Zoe's love, and didn't stop just because obstacles came in his way.Zoe is a very fierce, stubborn heroine. She is very energetic and knew what she wanted. She is very determined about her goals, and I liked that. Zoe, I find, is a good role model (in several ways). I really loved this book and I can't wait to hear news of the second book! I will definitely read the second, too. *serious face* I just want to say, Thanks again to Ms. Strauss for the e-ARC!!!
